Thank you for joining The Crazy Crafters team for our monthly blog hop. The theme for the May Blog Hop is Framelits, chosen by our Host Angela Lorenz. We hope you enjoy our virtual hop where you will learn great techniques for your paper crafting projects.
You should have just left stop number 3 on the Crazy Crafters Hop - Nicole Spicer at Handmade by Nicole Spicer. If so, you are in the right spot. If you get off track, the full blog lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations.
Here's a close up of the card showing the patterned DSP and textured card stock background. The Core'dinations Cardstock from the current Annual Catalogue is a perfect choice for the background and is available in all of the Colour Collections.
Project Hints & Tips:
~ If you're using the same colour as the Hexagon Hive Thinlit as your background, go for a textured card stock for added character.
~ Punch out the flowers using the Petite Petals punch in a lightly patterned DSP.
~ If you find pieces remain on the Hexagon Hive Thinlit after you have run it through the Big Shot, try using a piece of waxed paper between the card stock and the Thinlit.
~ Save all the hexagon pieces that popped out from the Hexagon Hive Thinlit. You can then use different colours on other Projects like the Primrose Petals and Blushing Bride used on my Project with the Basic Gray Thinlit and Background.
