Crazy Crafters New Stampin' Up! Catalogue July Blog Hop

Thank you for joining The Crazy Crafters team for our monthly blog hop.  The theme for the July Blog Hop is the new Stampin' Up! Catalogue.   We hope you enjoy our virtual hop where you will learn great techniques for your paper crafting projects.

You should have just left stop number 3 on the Crazy Crafters Hop - Kylie Bertucci from Crafty Kylie.  If so, you are in the right spot. If you get off track, the full blog lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations.

My Project for the hop is a Flower Patch Birthday Card specially made for my mums birthday later this month.  The Flower Patch is a Photopolymer stamp set and really easy to stamp with and cutting out is a breeze with the coordinating Flower Fair Framelits.

Project Hints & Tips:
~  Use the many beautiful coloured photographs in the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue for inspiration on your Cards and Projects.  For my card, I used the Kraft Grid Journal picture on page 155 of the new Annual Catalogue for inspiration.
~  To ensure even ink coverage of your photopolymer stamped images, put the Stampin' Pierce Mat under your cardstock before you stamp.  This works really well with background stamps as well.
~  Include multiple Flower Fair Framelits on the big spot plates at one time.  This saves a lot of time.
~  Purchase the Flower Patch and coordinating Flower Fair Framelits as a bundle and save 15%
~ Use the Color Coach to see the Dynamic Duos.  These are 2 colors, 1 lighter and 1 darker that go together, and is perfect for 2 step stamping on the Flower Patch images
~ Try the 2 step stamping technique without the Stamp-a-majig.  The photopolymer stamps let you see exactly where you are stamping.
