Art With Heart March Blog Hop - Easter Theme

Hi, and welcome to the Art with Heart Team March Blog Hop.  This is the first time I have participated in the Teams Blog Hop and am very excited to show you my Easter themed Projects.

I have fallen in love with the bunny from the Cheerful Critters stamp set, which is available in the current Occasions Catalogue.   The stamp set also contains a chick, both of which would be perfect for your Easter Projects.

The Easter Card I made in Bermuda Bay features designer series paper from Confetti Celebrations.

The bunny has been stamped twice.  Once on Whisper White card stock and again on designer series paper and fussy cut. The punched flowers are from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack and have been decorated with Bermuda Bay Candy Dots.  A tied knot in the Bermuda Bay 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon completes the card design.

One of the best things about Easter is of course chocolate.  Stampin' Up! has a great collection of tools and big shot dies available to create cute little gift boxes to give a treat to a friend, work colleague or family member.

This cute box is made with the Envelope Punch Board and uses a piece of 6"x 6" DSP.

The Curvy Keepsake Box makes an adorable little Easter Box and really pops when embossed with the Large Polka Dot Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

The Petite Purse Bigz Die is cut out with the Big Shot.  Texture has been added to the purse by embossing the purse with the Decorative Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

The Berry Basket Bigz Die is one of my favourite products in the Occasions Catalogue along with the Bow Builder Punch.  The basket uses a sheet of A4 card stock and is very easy to assemble.  The scallop edge can be pointing upwards or downwards.

The front of the basket looks very cute with the Bow Builder Punch finished with a Bermuda Bay candy dot.

I hope the above Projects have given you some inspiration for creating some quite packaging for your Easter eggs or gifts.

Thanks for visiting and I would love for you to leave me a comment.

Happy stamping,
Sue.
