CLASS PROJECT: MINI-MINI TREAT BAGS

It is so quick and easy to put a mini treat bag together using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits.  Here are a couple of Mini-Mini Treat Bags I recently made to house tasty treats, which were Life Savers - Fruit Tingles.

The Mini Treat Bag Thinlit contains 12 Dies and the pieces are gorgeous for decorating the Mini Treat Bag and for use on other Projects.

To make the Mini-Mini Treat Bag, you will need 1 piece of 6" x 6" DSP.  I chose one of the papers from the Cherry On Top Designer Series Paper Stack.  Position the Backing Thinlit close to the edge and run through the Big Shot.

Move the Backing Thinlit to the other edge and run through the Big Shot again. You will now have 2 identical pieces.

On one of the pieces, trim 1/2 inch off the bottom.  On the other piece, score 1/2 from the bottom and cut out the little corner where the horizontal and vertical score lines join.

Run a strip of strong adhesive along the outer vertical edge of both pieces.  Run a shorter strip of strong adhesive along the bottom edge on the inside of the piece as shown.

Peel off the adhesive tape and join as shown.  I line the bottom edge up of the shorter piece with the score line of the longer piece.  Peel off the other vertical adhesive and join to the inside edge of the other piece.  Peel the shorter horizontal adhesive tape at the bottom and join at the back.

Put your tasty treats inside and decorate.  Of course you don't have to include a candy treat, pens or pencils would work equally well.

The 'tasty treats' stamped image is from the All Boxed Up Stamp Set and has been punched using the new Washi Label Punch.

The strip of circle and hearts adds a lovely little touch to the Mini-Mini Treat Bags.

If you're thinking about purchase the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits, consider buying the You're So Sweet Bundle and save 15 %.  The bundle contains the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies and the You're So Sweet Stamp Set available in either wood or clear mount.

These samples made with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits and the You're So Sweet stamp set are really cute.  How about this for a great idea... Instead of using an envelope for your greeting card, you could make a Mini Treat Bag and decorate the front with a Star or Heart cutout using the Dies.
