Thank you for joining The Crazy Crafters team for our monthly blog hop. The theme for the February Blog Hop is "Celebrating Love". You'll find lots of inspiration for Cards & 3D Projects featuring love from all occasions from the very talented ladies in the team and it has been my pleasure to host this months Blog Hop.
For my Project, I have created a Valentines Card and a Mini Treat Cello Bag with red m&m's. My foxy valentine card features the classic love colours of Real Red, Basic Black and Whisper White, which is a match made in heaven with the Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper Stack from the Occasions Catalogue.
The cute fox image is from the Hey, Valentine stamp set and includes lots of other really cute images. The Love Hearts have been punched with the Sweetheart Punch, which has made it's first appearance in this years Annual Catalogue and is a must have addition to your Stampin' Up! Punches collection.
The fox image coordinates with the Note Tag Punch and in my design I fussy cut close to the outside line and raised the image with dimensionals to create a layered look with a second Note Tag Punch in Basic Black undernearh. I also coloured the love hearts from the stamped image in with blendabilities.
The inside of the card features the Confetti Heart Border Punch. Love it! If you wanted to introduce an additional colour to the inside of the card, you could include a strip of card stock, DSP or glimmer paper. Don't forget to save the punched stars for a shaker card.
Who doesn't love a treat, especially when it's chocolate m&m's ? These Treat Bags are perfect for tiny valentine treats and the 'a sweet tweet for you' image from the Hey, Valentine stamp set is soooo cute. The image can be cut using the banner die from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies. I included a piece of black card stock under the image on the front and bag and cut it in line with the banner die and coloured the hearts in with one of the Blendabilities from the Cherry Cobbler Collection.
And my finished Projects together.
I hope you have enjoyed my Project and I would love for you to leave a comment. Hop through the other Blogs to see more Celebrating Love Projects.
Happy Valentine's Day for the 14th,
