Art With Heart March Blog Hop - Easter Theme

Hi, and welcome to the Art with Heart Team March Blog Hop.  This is the first time I have participated in the Teams Blog Hop and am very excited to show you my Easter themed Projects.

I have fallen in love with the bunny from the Cheerful Critters stamp set, which is available in the current Occasions Catalogue.   The stamp set also contains a chick, both of which would be perfect for your Easter Projects.

The Easter Card I made in Bermuda Bay features designer series paper from Confetti Celebrations.

The bunny has been stamped twice.  Once on Whisper White card stock and again on designer series paper and fussy cut. The punched flowers are from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack and have been decorated with Bermuda Bay Candy Dots.  A tied knot in the Bermuda Bay 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon completes the card design.

One of the best things about Easter is of course chocolate.  Stampin' Up! has a great collection of tools and big shot dies available to create cute little gift boxes to give a treat to a friend, work colleague or family member.

This cute box is made with the Envelope Punch Board and uses a piece of 6"x 6" DSP.

The Curvy Keepsake Box makes an adorable little Easter Box and really pops when embossed with the Large Polka Dot Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

The Petite Purse Bigz Die is cut out with the Big Shot.  Texture has been added to the purse by embossing the purse with the Decorative Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

The Berry Basket Bigz Die is one of my favourite products in the Occasions Catalogue along with the Bow Builder Punch.  The basket uses a sheet of A4 card stock and is very easy to assemble.  The scallop edge can be pointing upwards or downwards.

The front of the basket looks very cute with the Bow Builder Punch finished with a Bermuda Bay candy dot.

I hope the above Projects have given you some inspiration for creating some quite packaging for your Easter eggs or gifts.

Thanks for visiting and I would love for you to leave me a comment.

Happy stamping,
Sue.

The Crazy Crafters March Blog Hop - New Sale-a-bration Products

Thank you for joining The Crazy Crafters team for our monthly blog hop.  March is the last month of Sale-a-bration and Stampin' Up! have just released 4 new Sale-a-bration products, which are being featured in our March Blog Hop.

My Project for the Blog Hop is a Birthday Card for my nieces 18th Birthday.  The card design is a Building Block Card and uses 3 of vellum sheets from the Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum Stack and the butterfly image from the Nature's Perfection Stamp Set.

Here are the 2 new Sale-a-bration products I used.

I absolutely adore the Vellum Sheets. The patterns are printed in Basic Gray and looks beautiful when layered on the Pink Pirouette Cardstock.  As you know, gray goes with lots of colours and I think the vellum would be especially perfect with any of the colours from the Subtles Colour Collection.

The Balloon is stamped from the Celebrate Today stamp set, which coordinates with the Balloon Framelits Dies available in the current Occasions Catalogue.  The 18th stamped image is from the Memorable Moments stamp set.  The Vellum sheets work really well in the Stampin' Up! punches, like the Bow Builder Punch used here.

To complete the balloons, cut some strands of Baker's Twine for the balloon string.

The Building Block Card design is commonly used for individual letters that make up words like Get Well, Baby Girl, Baby Boy, Love You & Noel/Joy.  Instead of one/two words on the building blocks, I have used the Butterfly from the Nature's Perfection Stamp set, which coordinates with the Elegant Butterfly Punch, and adorned the butterflies with Basic Jewel Rhinestones because a pretty special card like this needs bling.  This is the back of the card and will fold flat for postage in a standard C6 envelope.

The other 2 new Sale-a-bration products are the For Being You stamp set and the In Color Accessory Pack.  I love all of these new Sale-a-bration products and won't be able to help myself, I will need to buy all of them.

Don't forget, you get to choose 1 Sale-a-bration item for every $90 AUD spent from either the Annual Catalogue or the current Occasions Catalogue.  Once Sale-a-bration finishes at the end of March, the products will no longer be available, so don't delay, start shopping now.

I hope you have enjoyed my Project and I would love for you to leave a comment.  Hop through the other Blogs to see more Projects using the 4 new Sale-a-bration products.

Happy Stamping,
Sue.
